About Us: Attic Conversions Cork exists to help homeowners across Cork city and county make use of space they already have. Converting an attic is often less disruptive and less costly than a ground-floor extension, and it doesn\\\'t touch your garden -- but only if the structural side is handled properly from the start.
Every project begins with a structural assessment, not a design conversation. We check roof pitch, joist strength, and ceiling height before any discussion of layout, dormer vs. Velux, or finish -- because until we know what your attic can actually support, everything else is guesswork.
If a conversion needs extra structural work to be safe and building-control compliant, we\\\'ll tell you that upfront rather than promise something the roof can\\\'t deliver. That\\\'s not always the fastest way to close a job, but it\\\'s the only way we\\\'re comfortable working.
