There was no best part of this experience, I'm pretty sure this company is a scam.
I would change everything about the experience, in that I would not have chosen to work with them if I knew then what I know now.
We purchased a list of 10k contacts from Ryan Smith with Fount Media for our business email subscriber list. Only about 20% of the addresses were usable. We had to scrub them one by one because they included our competitors (who we obviously don't want to share our marketing with), hundreds of businesses that are permanently closed, hundreds of businesses that aren't even in the same industry as us... you get the picture. They guaranteed their work before we signed on with them but when we went back to them with our list of thousands of totally unusable email addresses, we were promptly blown off and no effort was made on their part to redeem themselves. Save yourself the time and money and get an intern to do some googling for you to collect emails, they'll do a better job.
